Lighting
Creative lighting is the most effective way of changing a space. It can be used to add colour and warmth to drab walls. It can be used to draw your guests' focus to or away from certain areas. It can be used to simulate the romance of a candle-lit dinner. The possibilities are endless! Some elements often used at weddings include:
- Pin spotting / lighting floral table centres - This allows the majority of the installed lighting in a venue to be dimmed down, leaving enough light for your guests to see and eat by, creating an extremely cosy and intimate feel.
- Uplighting / colour washing - This is a great way of adding warmth. Subtly washing a room with pastel shades will soften the most austere of ballrooms and disguise bare walls. Colour washing large areas like ceilings creates a beautiful effect as the light reflects onto the tables below, making all the glass and silverware shimmer gently.
- Stage & dance floor lighting - Effective stage lighting will draw your guests focus and set the scene for them to enjoy themselves without feeling self-conscious. The options range from simple and elegant lighting systems to just add colour or more complex systems that feature the latest technology to emulate your favourite TV show or concert.
